Summating is relatively straightforward in stable weather. However the area can receive strong, cold mountain winds and high camps can require heavy load carrying. Good quality lightweight gear should be selected to provide effective windproof and waterproof protection along with lightweight insulation suitable for the high mountains. Most expeditions run December, January and February and the equipment selected here is suitable for this period.
