The Andes chain is so long, stretching 7000km from north of the equator right down close to Antarctica in the south, that it is impossible to quote seasons or weather patterns to cover it all.

However, the Minimum Temperatures are based on altitude and give a fair indication of what to expect on treks and peaks between 5000m and 6000m. Lower sections of treks will naturally be much warmer.
