Description

For complete weather protection these down trousers are made with waterproof HS2 fabric and fully taped outer shells. They provide an efficient hassle-free alternative when the full warmth (and weight) of salopettes is unnecessary.

HS2 has now replaced Tempest as the standard outer fabric for the Omega Trousers, making them lighter, more waterproof and more breathable than before. Tempest remains an option for trips where extra durability is the most important factor.

950 down option

This option adds 4°C to their performance bringing the Typical Operating Temperature to -59°C.

Technical

950 Fillpower Down

A newcomer to our range. European goose of rare quality. A high value alternative at the top levels of performance. More on our down insulation.

900 Fillpower Down

European goose down of very high quality. A truly excellent down with large clusters, consistent quality and lively long-term performance. More on our down insulation.

Waterproof HS2 outer fabric (weight: 88 gsm)

HS2 is PHD's high-spec 2-layer ripstop for waterproof outers on our down. It is light enough to be the optional taped shell on our sleeping bags and tough enough for expedition use in our Omega clothing. HS2 is completely waterproof (when the seams are taped) and offers excellent breathability. Order samples of this fabric & just pay the postage.

Tough Waterproof Tempest outer fabric (weight: 160gsm)

A technically advanced waterproof breathable material. 100% Nylon. Good abrasion and tear resistance, yet offering high flexibility for such a tough material. Order samples of this fabric & just pay the postage.
