Description:

Minimus down clothing is ideal trek gear: it packs so small when you don’t need it, but it will cope with a high pass at -10°C or a cold evening. The jacket is a lightweight warmer you're likely to use a lot on your trek, and when the temperature drops, you'll be surprised how welcome the Minimus trousers will be.

The real bonus comes when you wear the clothing inside your bag at night as part of your Sleep System. It will extend the capability of the lightweight Minim 400 bag from -5°C to -15°C. On milder nights the Minim 400 bag will be enough on its own, but on a mid-level trek temperatures may fall to -10°C or below – no problem with this System, you'll have the extra warmth you need.

K Series: The Minim 400K Down Sleeping Bag is available in the K Series: performance is the same, but the exceptional loft of 1000 down reduces the weight of the bag to an amazing 585g (21oz).

Trek & Mountain - Gear of the Year 2014

"After using a whole spectrum of sleeping bags during testing this year, I am convinced that if you want a lightweight option for backpacking trips then the Minim is hard to beat."
Trek & Mountain magazine gear tester, Paul Smith, selects the Minim 400 in his 'Gear of the Year 2014'.

Reviews relate to Minimus Down Jacket

TGO Magazine best buy

"This jacket is remarkable for its warmth, weight and comfort, especially given the add-on option of a hood: I had no choice but to make it Best Buy ... It felt significantly warmer than any other sub-400g jackets and with the optional stud-on, snug-fitting hood ... it'd be awesome. The weight is unbelievable, given that the test jacket features the heaviest, most water-resistant fabric option (Drishell) ... Minimus is amazing."
Judy Armstrong in TGO Magazine.

"I am so pleased I am with the Minimus jacket that you made me. Last month I did the Gokyo trek in Nepal and found the jacket invaluable for some very cold evenings; and the climb of Gokyo-Ri at about -10°C degrees. I just wore a couple of base layers under it and was very comfortable. It's kept me warm & cosy in some pretty extreme conditions."

Review relates to Minimus Down Trousers

Backpacking Light - Highly recommended

"Overall Rating: Highly Recommended. These down pants are simple and light, just the way we want them. They have the most loft and highest loft:weight ratio of the three pants we tested; I couldn't ask for more. I found that I could extend the warmth of a 30°F (-1°C) sleeping bag to 15°F (-9°C) by wearing these pants and a lightweight down jacket inside."
Will Rietveld, Backpacking Light. Read full review.

Review relates to Minimus Down Socks

"The Minimus Trousers and Down Socks were absolutely brilliant! When I worked at the Everest Trail Race before I was a little cold, not this year! The trousers and socks made all the difference not only at night but in the day when standing at exposed peaks."
Ian Corless, Adventure Photographer.
