Our Alpamayo shell clothing is based on our waterproof breathable HS3 fabric. HS3 is a 3-layer laminate ripstop fabric that strikes a good balance between lightness and durability. HS3 is waterproof to a much higher level than necessary and offers excellent breathability.
The Xero Windshell is a lightweight, unlined, and untaped one-piece suit in Drishell, superbly efficient for such a light fabric. The Omega Weathershell is a lined suit with a fully taped Tempest outer, providing complete weather protection.
