Our lightest Yukon Jacket ever.

This 7 denier fabric version is made in our ultralight 7X fabric (22g/m2). Weighing just 335g complete with hood, this remarkable Yukon Jacket is extreme in weight saving. Its box wall construction and exceptional 950 fillpower down boost its performance well beyond the rest of our ultralight clothing.

The handwarmer pockets are zipped and there is a stretch drawcord in the hem. The insulated chest pocket keeps a GPS (or other battery-operated kit) both warm and easily available.

The 7X Yukon's lightness will suit Ultra Racers and Lightweight Trekkers. 7X fabric is used to achieve a remarkable overall weight. For high mountain, damp conditions our Ultrashell or Drishell versions are more suitable being more robust and water-resilient. This is not designed as a high mountain jacket like the Rondoy. But when the kit has to be ultralight and stitch-through jackets are just not warm enough, the Yukon can be the ideal choice.

Ultralight 7X fabric (weight: 22 gsm)

7X is our new sheer-light 7 denier fabric. An exquisitely fine rip-stop nylon, 7X is incredibly light, highly wind-resistant and has first-rate down proofing. This fabric helps us create the very lightest of gear in the PHD range. Of course the lighter the fabric the lighter the sleeping bag or down clothing, and the less space it takes up in your rucksack. This fabric is so light it actually helps to allow even greater lofting of the down too.

950 fillpower down

A newcomer to our range. European goose of rare quality. A high value alternative at the top levels of performance. More on our down insulation.
