It's designed with an eye towards mountain racers, ultralight trekkers, bike-packers, multistage ultra runners, lightweight backpackers and wilderness trampers – but well suited to anybody who wishes to move fast and light.
It's lighter than a fleece, much warmer, packs a lot smaller and has a 100% winderproof outer too. The long body length and higher collar work to cut cold air ingress making for even warmer performance. And that’s really not bad, when you consider the 290g/10oz weight!
This astonishing zero degree down top uses our water-resistant Ultrashell fabric to provide total windblock and help keep out the damp and drizzle. The rare 950 fill-power down ensures extremely weight-efficient insulation. This is a top to wear though, not just to weigh: added function comes from the full-length zip, the easy access chest pocket, hand warmer pockets, and the optional down filled hood.
Note : The optional hood needs to be ordered at the same time as the jacket.
