Elbrus: System 2

This system combines the superb Hispar 400 sleeping bag with the box-wall Yukon jacket. When the down clothing is worn inside the Hispar bag at night, it will boost the whole system to -24°C performance. On summit day the Yukon with its -15°C (5°F) rating offers a high level of protection if the weather turns bad, while the trousers will really show their worth in a cold camp.

Description:

Minus 15°C is about the coldest you would expect at night at a high camp on Elbrus. But wearing the Yukon clothing inside the Hispar 400 will ensure your comfort at much lower temperatures. 

When you go for the summit, the Yukon offers exceptional performance for such a lightweight jacket (just 365g [13oz] for the K version). And if you're going outside the midsummer months, you might find the down trousers are worth taking up as well.

K Series: The Hispar 400K Sleeping Bag is available in the K Series: performance is the same, but the exceptional loft of 1000 down reduces the weight of the bag to an amazing 655g (23oz).
