Sleep systems

Alps Winter

Both systems shown for Alpine winters use the Hispar 500 as the main sleeping bag, giving a secure starting performance of -15°C. 'System 1' then adds in the Yukon jacket and Rondoy trousers to raise the rating to -30°C, while 'System 2' reaches the same level, including a halfbag instead of the trousers.

VIEW AS:
This system is based on the Hispar 500 sleeping bag, which gives superb warmth to weight performance, a -15°C rating for less than a kilo. The down clothing will boost that all the way to -30°C when worn inside the bag. So no worries about the weather turning cold – you’ll still sleep warm. For climbing, the Yukon jacket has proved itself in the Alps, the Arctic, and even the Himalayas, as a lightweight with serious performance. Along with the Rondoy trousers it will cope with a bivvy down to about -7°C.
The Yukon jacket and Alpine Ultra halfbag are ideal lightweight bivvy gear if you want insurance on a climb. Back in camp they can be worn inside the Hispar 500 to boost its performance from -15°C right up to -30°C when you need it. Whatever the weather, you'll still sleep warm.
