Description
The Omega is the warmest Jacket that PHD makes. An incredible refuge of a Jacket, the Omega is the choice for the very coldest mountains and the worst Polar conditions. A fully waterproof outer protects the down on long and arduous expeditions.
HS2 is a lightweight, wind- and water-proof, breathable fabric that’s the first layer of protection in truly inhospitable conditions. A huge depth of down insulation and a differential cut designed to allow full lofting delivers an immensely high-performing Jacket.
Five expedition pockets, a large helmet-compatible hood, Velcro-adjusted cuffs and cordlocks at the hem allow complete lockdown in whiteouts, and the option of filling with 950 down pushes the Typical Operating Temperature down to -59°C.
Tempest outer fabric remains an option for trips where extra durability is the most important factor.
As used by Sir Ranulph Fiennes on the first Trans-Antarctic Winter Expedition - the Coldest Journey, the BBC's Tribe team in Siberia, by the Ice Warrior team, and many others.

Tough Waterproof Tempest outer fabric (weight: 160gsm)

A technically advanced waterproof breathable material. 100% Nylon. Good abrasion and tear resistance, yet offering high flexibility for such a tough material.
