Trekking Peaks: System 1

The Hispar clothing is rated for -30°C daytime use, well warm enough for your peak. Wear it inside the lightweight Hispar 400 and the combination will take care of your nights right down to -29°C. This system is based on a lighter bag and warmer clothing than System 2: overall performance is similar.
Typical Operating Temperature

Description:

The 400 is the lightest bag in the Hispar range, but don’t worry, it will provide plenty of warmth once it is combined with the Hispar clothing. And in a high camp you’ll get the bonus that comes with using your down gear as a booster – the luxury of being warm when you get into your bag and warm when you climb out of it in the morning.

K Series: The Hispar 400K Sleeping Bag (Wide) is available in the K Series: performance is the same, but the exceptional loft of 1000 down reduces the weight of the bag to an amazing 727g (26oz).

Review relates to Hispar 400 Down Sleeping Bag

"This has to be the best sleeping bag I've ever used in every respect. It weighs 790g and its warm as a very warm thing (good to -9). It's not cheap but then you get what you pay for when it comes to sleeping bags. PHD are a very small company but they beat the socks off the big guys."
Phil Newby, registered BAIML International Mountain Leader.

Review relates to Hispar Down Jacket

"The Hispar is a totally amazing jacket. Really surprised by the warmth it offers. Amazing warmth to weight. Used it on 3 Aconcagua expeditions this season and it was just ideal."
Ben Kane, Guide, Field Touring Alpine.

Review relates to Rondoy Down Trousers

"The lightest 'big mountain' down legwear that PHD has produced. They use 950 fill down, water-resistant Ultrashell face material and have full-length side-zips for ease of use. Serious cold weather trousers."

Review relates to Minimus Down Socks

"Thank you for the fantastic equipment. Everything (including the Minimus Down Socks) was above and beyond what was required and fended off the elements perfectly."
Graham B., on a trip to Aconcagua.
