The end of summer ushers in the Autumn Race season: 2 day endurance events, testing the skills and the sheer tenacity of the teams. For runners and mountaineers, these events can be the most challenging and exciting of the year. The Mourne Mountain Marathon, the Roc and the Original Mountain Marathon (OMM) are much loved classics, and “The Spine” is quickly establishing a reputation.
