Wind chill rating: Medium
Gear Notes
The majority of Alpine climbers avoid bad weather and utilize valley bases along with mountain huts and plan to avoid high camping and bivouacs. If however you intend to be high in the mountains for more extended periods, you need to be prepared for the full force of high mountain conditions. Mountain clothing and sleeping bags need to be more substantial while remaining lightweight.
The gear listed here is for the traditional summer mountain conditions of June through to September.
