Insulated Suits
One-piece down suits are the ultimate in protective gear for extreme expeditions like Everest or the Poles. Many people favour the versatility of the split system (jacket & pants), particularly if they are using the same kit for different kinds of expeditions. But as a secure system for a big expedition one-piece down suits are hard to beat.
