Sleep systems

High Mountains

The Systems shown here are all based around the Hispar 500 sleeping bag and variations on Hispar clothing. Down jacket and trousers in 'System 1' and down jacket with halfbag in 'System 2'. The Hispar clothing offers -30°C daytime performance and the Systems are all rated for -35°C at night.

VIEW AS:
The Hispar 500 sleeping bag and the Hispar jacket are both high mountain lightweights that make a great team for peaks around 7000m. The jacket is rated at -30°C (-22°F) for your ascent. Wear it inside the wide-cut bag at night (along with the trousers and socks) and you'll boost the bag rating right down to -35°C (-31°F).
This system (like System 1) is based on the Hispar 500 sleeping bag and the Hispar jacket, both of them high mountain lightweights that make a great team for peaks around 7000m. As in System 1 the jacket is rated at -30°C for your ascent. But a down halfbag takes the place of trousers and socks inside the Hispar bag at night and along with the jacket provides the same warmth as System 1 right down to -35°C.
