Description

Designed for fast moving expeditions to the highest levels or for any extreme cold weather venture where weight is at a premium. These down salopettes use lightweight, water-resistant Drishell fabric (with tough Tempest reinforcement) and a highly efficient lightweight construction, combining with the Omega or Xero Down Jackets to provide highly versatile packages, warm enough for the most severe conditions.

1000 down option

Now available with our unique 1000 fillpower down as a 'K Series' product.

As used by the BBC's Tribe team in Siberia, the Ice Warrior team, the Extreme South team, and many others.

Technical

Water-resistant Drishell outer fabric (weight: 54 gsm)

Ripstop nylon with an ultralight coating: achieves total windblock, along with high breathability and superior water resistance. Superbly efficient for a very light overall fabric weight. Order samples of this fabric & just pay the postage.

950 Fillpower Down

A newcomer to our range. European goose of rare quality. A high value alternative at the top levels of performance. More on our down insulation.

900 Fillpower Down

European goose down of very high quality. A truly excellent down with large clusters, consistent quality and lively long-term performance. More on our down insulation.

Waterproof HS2 outer fabric (weight: 88 gsm)

HS2 is PHD's high-spec 2-layer ripstop for waterproof outers on our down. It is light enough to be the optional taped shell on our sleeping bags and tough enough for expedition use in our Omega clothing. HS2 is completely waterproof (when the seams are taped) and offers excellent breathability. Order samples of this fabric & just pay the postage.

Sizing

Standard clothing sizing chart

Weight shown is for medium (M) size.

The PHD Sizing Chart below is based on measurements without clothing, exactly the way you would buy a shirt, a sweater or a pair of trousers. A 42" (107cm) chest means that your bare chest uninflated measures 42". Inside Arm is measured from armpit to wrist-bone and Inside Leg from crutch to ankle bone. If you find that you fall between (or across) these sizings, please contact us and we will quote you for modifications needed. Modifications cannot be made to sale items, bargain box items or other products not offered at full price. And if you are supplying us with your measurements, it is always useful for us to know your height, even when you are only buying a jacket.
